Do I need one unit or a pair?
A normal dual-fiber point-to-point CWDM link uses a mux/demux at each end. Confirm the common-port direction, channel mapping and fiber polarity for the complete pair.
How much mux/demux loss should be included in the link budget?

Are monitor, expansion and 1310nm ports included?

Can different data rates share the same CWDM system?
The passive device routes optical wavelengths, but each service still needs a matching transceiver pair and an adequate loss budget. Confirm the exact protocol, rate and optics for every channel.
What is the difference between dual-fiber CWDM and single-fiber CWDM?
